Our Terms & Conditions provide you with all of the information required to make your shopping experience with Birchcraft as easy and enjoyable as possible.

ORDERS

Designs shown on this site are available as follows:

Online

This is the simplest and safest payment method.

If you are paying in   UK £ we accept Visa, Mastercard. Visa Delta, Visa, JCB, Switch, Visa Electron and Solo. If you are paying in Euros  or US $ we accept Mastercard Visa and Visa Delta

To order from our shopping section simply select the product and quantity you require and click add to basket then proceed to the checkout, and finally go on to our secure transaction server. In this secure environment complete your credit cards details and check the delivery address. On confirming your details the transaction is checked and within a few seconds you should receive confirmation that the transaction has been successful.

By cheque (orders within the UK mainland and Northern Ireland only).

If you prefer you may print out your shopping basket details from our website after processing and forward this to us with a cheque for the appropriate amount including the postage.

Please make cheques payable to Birchcraft Ltd and ensure that your card number, card expiry date and your address have been printed on the reverse side as errors may delay your order so please check carefully.

Shipping

Postage and packaging costs have been calculated according to weight and destination. Generally a charge of £2.50 for UK sales is raised on orders containing light items. If your order contains heavier items then the charge raised will correspond to the heaviest item. The charge raised will be shown at the checkout. 

TAX CHARGES
Please note the following when ordering from overseas.
UK Value Added Tax will be deducted from companies registered for VAT (or for countries of the European Community, or for individuals who are resident in the European Community. This includes addresses in the Channel Isles and Southern Ireland .
To work out the amount of your order less VAT divide the price by 1.175.
Private individuals residing anywhere within the EC will be unable to reclaim the VAT from their purchases.

DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch our orders 48 hours unless the item ordered is out of stock. Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery under normal circumstances. Please allow more time for Christmas deliveries.

Non-delivery and delivery discrepancies

If you believe your parcel to be lost, please contact us.

We have to allow 14 days for delivery of a parcel or packet to comply with Post Office and insurance regulations. In the case of any discrepancies like missing contents, outstanding items please email us on info@birchcraft.co.uk immediately. You must do so within 21 days of the order date.

DAMAGED GOODS, RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse charges or replace items until we have the returned goods.

Damaged Goods

In the event of the item being damaged due to defective materials or workmanship please return goods to us immediately. Do not use the items when damaged. Please allow 28 days for reimbursement or issue of replacement goods.

All your normal postage and packaging costs will be reimbursed on justified damaged goods.

Returns and Cancellations

We offer all our customers the right to cancel their order before dispatch or request a refund within 14 days of receipt. Refunds and exchanges may only be processed when the goods have been returned.

It is advisable to obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office and parcel consignment number in the event of loss or damage, as we cannot compensate for parcels that are mislaid in transit.

On receipt of a returned item that was originally paid for by credit card, a reimbursement will be made to the credit card account of the person who originally paid for the goods.

If you require an exchange your credit card will be re-charged on dispatch.

Cheque refunds can only be made in the name of the original customer.

PRICING
We make every effort to maintain accurate prices on our web site. Due to the seasonal nature of some of our products we cannot guarantee to have stock out of season. We reserve the right to discontinue any item when necessary.

When placing an order through Birchcraft your details are passed through a secure connection. This ensures that the absolute security of your personal information. Your order and card details will be encrypted and so Birchcraft will have no knowledge of your details.

Any personal details such as address and email addresses submitted will be used for processing your order.

We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

 

Why did you receive an email from us?

 

If you received an email from us, (a) your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system.

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

 

How can you stop receiving email from us?

 

Each email sent contains an easy way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

 

If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to abuse@b2bComm.co.uk for review.

 

Our Policy On Spam

 

We have ZERO tolerance of spam.

 

We do not use our email service to send unsolicited email ("spam"), commercial or non-commercial. Unsolicited email is defined as email sent to individuals without their permission.

 

Our email will be considered unsolicited if our membership addresses are not 100% opt-in by our email list members.

 

We do not purchase email list nor do we use software to harvest email addresses with the purpose of using them to solicit business.

 

We do not send email with an invalid "From:" or "Reply-to:" address. All messages sent to our list contain valid email addresses and we respond to all replies from members of our list, including unsubscribe requests.

 

All of our list messages include unsubscribe instructions in order that members can unsubscribe themselves from such list. We do not refuse or ignore unsubscribe requests from members of our list. We respond to member requests for manual removal from the list with courtesy and timeliness.
