Birchcraft have been supported by Cambridgeshire & Peterbourgh Growth Fund. The project involved developing a new website addressing the both the needs of trade and retail sales. This was backed up with the renewal of the stock and database system.

Without the assistance of Opportunity Peterborough Birchcraft would not have started this project. It has been a steep learning curve as far as the new back office system but we now have a modern system which will be able to cope with our projected sales.

We have just launched the site, www.Birchcraft.co.uk, and are looking forward to promoting the Christmas collection in the coming season and introducing wholesale customers into how they can use the site to order online and view new ranges not yet available.

The brand www.decoratethatcake.co.uk now has its own website and we hope to expand the product range to include baking accessories. Our cake decorations are designed to make cake decorating easy creating beautiful cakes without the hard work. Home baking seems to be going through a revival so we hope our products will hit home with those busy Mums who still want to create that special  cake.
